EVT of the Year Nominations

The award ceremony for 2026 EVT of the year Investigator and Educators, has been moved to the Arizona Fire Chiefs Association and Arizona Fire Districts Association conference in July. This means we need to start the selection process now in order to be ready for the Chiefs conference. So nominations are open for all Arizona EVT's.

Due to the moving of the ceremony of the EVT of the Year, we need to get nominations in as quickly as possible. This year the ceremony will be part of the Fire Chief's conference being held on July 16, 2026. Nominations are due by June 12, 2026.

This year we have created a form that you may use to submit your nomination, which you will find at the end of this email. As in the past, you may also write up your nomination and submit it to me via email as an attached document.

Fort Mojave Mesa Fire is sad to announce the loss of Firefighter/Senior Mechanic Rob Hussey. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on March 10, 2026, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1691 N. Oatman Rd, Bullhead City, AZ 86442.

Rob was a valued and beloved member of the Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Family for more than 20 years and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Posted 3-7-26

Arkansas Assoc of EVT Needs Assisstance

The Arkansas Association of EVTs is requesting assistance in planning upcoming events.

The AAEVT questionaire is for their upcoming events. They are requesting feedback from across the nation. If you wish to assist them with your thoughts, please respond to admin@arkansasevt.org.
